Thank you for selecting our prompt pool! 12 community members picked our prompts, of which each story must use at least 1:

• Finding out the truth


• An unexpected event leads to chaos.

We started with 55 nominated prompts this year! We saw many ties and close calls along the way. FK fandom preferences are always diverse! Whether we're each here for the police procedural, historical fiction, vampire horror, psychological drama, urban fantasy, or science fiction, we're all here, together. Yay, us! Yay, FK!

Soon, I'll put up our all-in-one-place rules/gameplay post. We're on our way! Stories (of at least 500 words) will come due by the end of May 25. They'll start releasing on May 27 and continue one per day as long as they last. (Folks may post to our AO3 collection or DW community. If you choose DW, we'll have a template for you.)

Congratulations on your 50% predictions -- that's amazing! I think that the quantity of ties tipped things toward the original seeding; I wonder what might have happened if we'd had an odd number of participants.

I'm glad you're happy with the result!

I'm going to post over on my own journal about the "brackets" approach. We can't know fully whether it's a better approach until we see the stories for the prompts it yielded, but I'm curious how folks are feeling about it.
