In celebration of our FKFicFest's 10^th anniversary, we're playing challenge-style, sharing a common prompt: "ten years" (or "ten" & "years"). We should all shape the prompt to our own, personal satisfactions, picking our characters, settings, themes, and all!

Yet many of us love to fulfill specifics or execute scenarios. So, with no promises and no obligations, please do post FKFicFest 2019 story wishes as replies on this thread!

• You may wish whether or not you plan to create in the fest.
• You may wish more than once. For easy browsing, let's try one wish per reply, with descriptive subject lines.
• A wish may or may not mention the "ten years" prompt, but all submissions must address it.
• Crossovers must be at least 51% FK.
• There's no claiming, but let's chat about the wishes if we like.

I am a complete sucker for "Schanke lives!" scenarios and would love something like that, whether it's an AU that simply imagines him 10 years further along without mentioning the plane crash, or comes up with some way to explain/excuse the plane crash and still keep him around.

My favorite FK fanfic trope is still Nick caught between a rock and a hard place, mortality and humanity, his own good and a greater good. I'd love to read a story using this theme!

(We've been treated to many amazing examples over the years! Still, I can't imagine we've exhausted it.)

I would love a modern-day take on FK - is there an SUV with better hiding space? DNA tech to identify something in vampire blood? What happens when someone tries to track Nick's phone and he's whooshed off somewhere?
