The 2021 Prompts Announcement

Thank you for selecting our prompt pool for this year's game! 11 community members picked our 3 prompts, of which each story must use at least 1:

• "It's not what you are, it's what you do with it." —Mary Renault, The Charioteer, paraphrased
• interrupted by a disaster
• a moment of truth

As previously noted, our selections are the prompt with the most first-place votes (3 for "It's not what you are, it's what you do with it"), the next remaining prompt with the most total votes of any kind (6 for "interrupted by a disaster"), and the next remaining prompt with the most ranked vote points (10 for "a moment of truth").

This week, I'll put up our post for optional reader requests, and then our all-in-one-place rules/gameplay post. We're on our way! Stories will come due on May 15. They'll start releasing on May 17 (the week of the 25^th anniversary of the first airing of "Last Knight"), and continue one per day as long as they last.

All three are full of potential, making it difficult to pick one. I'm looking forward to seeing some optional reader requests, which may trigger something in my brain.
